Refund & Return Policy

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

1. Membership Dues

The New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Business Alliance (NMORBA) is a service-based non-profit organization. Because membership benefits—including access to the Member Directory, branding assets, and advocacy representation—are delivered and accessible immediately upon payment, all membership dues are strictly non-refundable.

If you believe there has been an error in your billing or a duplicate charge, please contact our team within 30 days of the transaction for a manual review.

2. Event Registrations & Tickets

For NMORBA-hosted events, summits, or networking mixers, our refund policy is as follows:

Full Refund: Requests made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event date will be granted a full refund, minus any processing fees.
Partial/No Refund: Requests made within fourteen (14) days of the event are non-refundable, as NMORBA has already committed funds for catering, venue, and materials based on headcount.
Transfers: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual within your organization at no additional cost. Please notify us of the name change at least 48 hours before the event.

3. Digital Products & Downloads

All sales of digital products (including industry reports, proprietary data sets, and recorded webinars) are final and non-refundable. Once the digital file has been delivered or the download link has been accessed, the sale is considered complete.

4. Strategic Sponsorships

Sponsorship agreements are governed by the specific terms of the individual contract signed by the sponsor and the NMORBA Executive Director. Unless otherwise stated in the custom contract, sponsorship investments are non-refundable once the partnership has been publicly announced or marketing benefits have commenced.

5. Automatic Renewals

If you have opted into an automatically renewing membership, you may cancel your subscription at any time through your Member Dashboard. * Cancellation will prevent all future charges.

NMORBA does not offer pro-rated refunds for the remaining portion of a membership year after a cancellation has been processed.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage our members to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns. NMORBA reserves the right to permanently terminate the membership of any organization that initiates a credit card chargeback for valid dues or fees without first attempting to resolve the issue with our leadership team.
